It would be great if the console had multiple user profiles or restrictions for multiple users. That would make it possible to lock the programmer or the whole setup menu, so the user can’t access the setup menu or program anything. Maybe there could also be a “playback only” profile, which allows only to playback things, but not modifying anything.
