FAN-mode off when changing an Attribute#262

When i use the FAN-function on a PAN for example and then i change to GOBO, then i want that the FAN-function is automatically disabled (now stays in the FAN-mode in the GOBO-selection / DIMMER / COLOR and a programmer-error is quickly made)

Hi Angelo,

this has been the behaviour since introduction of the console and since introduction of the chimp. I dont think it is a good idea to change this behaviour. Are you 100% sure?

In any case, we are in feature freeze for 2.1, so lets leave this issue open here and see if we get any upvotes.

Hi Denis,
to get back to this…i had yesterday and the day before Lampy trainings and just like i thought a lot of attendees had the FAN-mode enabled in situation where you don’t want it.

Example: i select my fixtures and go to position, enable the FAN-mode and make the fan, then i press the GOBO-button and want to select a GOBO, i get a big mess because the FAN-mode is still active.

i you can please change this into when changing an Attribute the FAN will be disabled.
it is better to enable the FAN-again when you have selected the Attribute.

We will reconsider this when we start the planning for the next feature update. In general I would recommend to keep Fan pressed while turning the encoder - this will turn off fan as soon as the fan button is released, like on chimp.

Hi Denis, please consider this one again…so when i did a fanning on a Position and select after that the attribute Dimmer / Gobo / Beam then FAN function will auto-disabled.

Hi Angelo,

I’m considering this for a future feature update.
