Option to import audio file (mp3/wave), analysize wave form and possibility to use this audio file as “time code” track and set cue points according to wave form to trigger a time code cue list show (and play back audio file as well).
I know it will be tricky to prgramm but this would be so cool to prepare fixed Playlists with cues and sound files and play back within executer.
Import of file perhaps via USB, playback of sound via audio in…?
I don’t know if this is possible to be done within existing hardware

Importing an audio file and displaying the waveform could certainly be possible; however the input is only an input and we have absolutely no way at the moment to output audio.

I’ve been testing external software running on my laptop connected to the same network router the Lampy is connected to, to play audio / video files under control of the Lampy console (at the time of testing it was Lampy version 1.xx).
Go to https://github.com/hermandsen/artnet-emu and follow the instructions. On your Lampy make a fixture (name it VLC mediaplayer) in your user library with 5 DMX channels (see page 80 and following in your Lampy manual):
Channel 1 is Volume (0 .. 255)
Channel 2 is Goup (0 .. 255)
Channel 3 is File (0 .. 255)
Channel 4 is Action (9 ranges, refer to table on GitHub page)
Channel 5 is Control (2 ranges, refer to table on GitHub page)
On your PC, Mac or Laptop install artnet-emu and VLC mediaplayer. Follow instructions on GitHub. Make shure you enable Art-Net on your Lampy (see page 65 in your manual). To use the media player in your show, add the “VLC mediaplayer” fixture from the user library and patch it.
Another fine piece of software I tested is Chataigne (https://benjamin.kuperberg.fr/chataigne/en). This is kind of a digital conductor to control all your equipment (Lampy, PC, mixing console, …). It can do what you described in your question.
Hope this will help.
Idea: Enable support for USB audio devices and the audio output problem is fixed
