I’ve updated the consoloe to 2.1 and opened a 2.06 file.
Only a few fixtures available, rest is gone ……

Just noticed the comment I wrote last night did not end up here for some reason ;)
Do you have a backup of the “original” file from 2.0.6 and can you attach it to the post?
Can you export log files from Menu -> System -> Maintenance -> Export Log Files and attach it to the post?

Hi Denis, if shit happens: I’ve no backup!!!!!!
I guess it has something to do with a generic fixture I’ve added.
I opened a show from last year (generated in 2.06) now in 2.10 and everything was ok.
I will try to reproduce the scenario I mentioned above and come back to you if I found something. In the meantime you can close this case.

I feel like we should leave it open - I also have the feeling it’s something in a fixture library - but we should figure out what it is and fix it. For us in these cases, especially due to the complexity of libraries and their datastructures, it would be great to have a fixture library that we can reproduce this issue with.

You’re the pro :-) so I will check and keep you updated ….

Hi, thank you for uploading the showfile (here’s hoping it wasnt somehow saved inbetween before you exported it). If it wasnt, your show might not yet be dead, but slighly wounded - will look into it shortly. It is always a good idea to export logs as well, since that first run where fixtures dissappeared was guaranteed to log some errors, giving us leads :)

We have found something, however we are unsure if it actually fixes the issue due to a missing (old) showfile for verification and testing.

Starting with the next Version (2.1.1) we will automatically create a copy of the showfile if showfile and software version are different.
We have also found a possible cause, however due to the lack of showfiles for testing we can not verify this actually fixes the issue.
