Since the update to 2.1.0, a playback fader set to “Disabled” doesnt trigger Autostart/-stop, which is an problem, when the playback button is set tap or skip to next cue.

This was a bug that we fixed. When the fader is disabled, it is not intended to autostart the playback.

But what should i set it then to? I have a tap effect that I want to start using the fader because the buttion is obvioulsy already in use. Or is there another way to do it?

To be able to use Autostart / Autostop, the fader needs to have some sort of functionality assigned.
We will most likely not add back Autostart / Stop back in for disabled faders.

I cant see why I would need to set the fader to some mode, i dont need, to be able to start and stop my tap chase for example.
Instead of reverting this change, you could add an dedicated fader mode for only autostart / autostop or give me an option in the settings to change the behaviour of the disabled fader mode.

We could certainly add a dedicated fader mode I assume, this would be something for one of the next feature updates and depending on the amount of upvotes this post receive.

Maybe remove “Can’t / Won’t do” as status to not irritate the voters
