During the show all DMX channels output value 0 - all dark.
No other option than a full reboot.
-> a couple of fixtures were set to turn on @ dmx failure. Also these fixtures turned black. IMO this is an indication there was still DMX output, but values all zero.
Last uodate was september 19. So I assume 2.1.1.
Will check in the upcoming weeks.

Knowing the exact software version would be interesting.
How did you check the values were all zero?
Were you in a loud / vibration environment?
Was it fixed after a reboot, or did you power cycle the console?

I personally think this is a hardware related issue. Is it reproducible? If not, we’ll unfortunately need some more info on how to reproduce it.

However, it would be great if you can share your showfile with us, and try to outline which playbacks, execs, mffs were active and what you were doing last if you still remember.
For me a wild guess would be that the GUI lost connection with the DMX output service somehow - if applicable

Its not applicable; you’d have to get a “Server Crashed” screen in this case.
Log files from the moment it occoured would be super helpful, altough I understand that is the least thing you think about when your DMX Output stops working.
Unfortunately due to technical reasons, log files are not saved persistently, so there is no way to retrieve this information once the console has been rebooted.
Seeing this is an isolated issue and we have not had other reports like this and you also had issues with some faders, my primary guess is power supply / external conditions triggering this issue.
Are you in the same venue with the same setup on a regular basis?
Unless we can somehow reproduce this issue, there is not much more we can do, I am afraid
