Bug in moving/re-arranging Playback Pages#375

Is the following a bug in the system, or is there a setting I can use to resolve this?:

• Recorded a cue list “List 1” on Playback Page 1 Fader 1 (1/1) and have other cue lists in other faders on Page 1.
• Switch to Page 2
• Record a new cue list “List 2” on Playback 2/2. There are also other cue lists on other faders in page 2
• I have decided I want to move all of fader page 2 and move it to page 3.
• Press Shift and Playback Page to bring up the Fader Page Menu. Page 2 is highlighted. - Press move right to move it to page 3.
• Page 2 is now blank. Record new cue list “List 3” to Playback 2/2. However, it re-populates that playback with the cue list “List 2” that has been moved to page 3 and my new cue list “List 3” now doesn’t exist anywhere.
• Delete the cue list “List 2” from Playback 2/2, but this also deletes Playback 3/2 as well.

This behaviour feels very much like a bug in the system. Moving/re-arranging fader pages and having the previous cue list that has been moved to a different page populate the fader when you record a completely new cue list which then does not exist anywhere.

This is indeed a bug.

I’ll discuss with the team if we can issue a fix for that in an upcoming bugfix release; it will definitely fixed in the upcoming feature release planned for early next year.

Btw - this is a very well written bug report! :)

We will not be able to fix this in 2.1.4, instead it’ll be fixed in the upcoming 2.2.0 feature release.
