I am having an issue with a Lampy 20. Not sure if the show file has gone corrupt or it’s a console issue. I’ve attached save log files for reference.
Occurred in software v2.1.4. I re-installed software, but same issue occurred. Upgraded to latest software 2.2.0 and issue still occurring. This Lampy has had it’s RAM upgraded to 8gb.
Issue occurs when trying to patch a fixture. Can select the fixture, but as soon as next is pressed to move onto the patching of the fixture, the console re-boots itself and no fixture is patched. Occurs every time we try to patch something.
Will a non-upgraded RAM LAMPY be able to operate software v 2.1.4 or higher? I could try to load the show on another console if that is the case.

Does this happen with the factory library Fixtures? Or with the Show/User Library ones?
A non-upgraded lampy should not update to 2.2 and beyond due to the RAM limitations. We have added some guardrails, but in the worst case you could end up with a corrupted install and will need to manually reinstall via commandline to get beyond a “kernel panic” message
Issue happens with both factory and user/show library

We cant seme to reproduce this here. Does this happen with fresh new showfiles or only with this specific one from 2.1.4?
It would help if you can send the exported show (if its from a pre 2.2 version, send us the autobackup the console created for you, or the 2.2 version if you dont have the backup anymore).
If you had an unsuccessful update before installing more RAM, it might have corrupted that showfile. We would be able to see this if you send the exported show.
The attached logfiles dont point to any specific issues.
Hi Rosen,
I have had a chance to grab another LAMPY. I think it is a problem in the show file itself.
I started a new show and no issue with patching fixtures. I loaded a different existing show and didn’t have any issue either.
Seems to be something in the attached show file that is causing the issue.
If this show is salvagable that would be great, however if it is not, then that’s the way it is.
thank you for providing the file.
We will have a look at it.
I can reproduce the crash with your showfile.
We will fix that for the next bugfix release.
After a quick look:
I think the showfile is fine.
It seems like your patch has exactly 1 dmx slot free and the console does not properly catch that case.
