After upgrading the RAM (*purchased second hand) and updating my console, it keeps crashing occasionally. This happens mostly during regular programming, but it is not easily reproducable because it happens randomly. It did not happen during a show yet, but it does make me anxious. What info can I give you to help troubleshoot this issue? The showfile was created on this version.
It also seems to loose connection to MFF11-30. I am using a lampy 40 with a DNGL.

Can you describe some of the cases where it crashes? That would be a good starting point for further investigation. Beta testers havent managed to reproduce any so far.
Also: Does it happen in some old showfile? If yes, from which version is it originally (if you know or hold an old backup)?
The second comment about the dongle “disappearing” is worth a separate post

I would try a different DIMM (RAM-module) too…because it happens randomly.

For the Dongle issue - it could also be a hardware (loose cable) issue. Some usb cable could have been displaced (check if all are plugged in and not loose). This could have happened by accident when changing the RAM, causing the dongle to dis-appear and re-appear afterwards. If you didnt have any issues with the dongle before the RAM update, its a safe bet something like this is the cause.

Has this been resolved?
Hi, sorry for the late reply. I have bought some new ram (G.Skill AEGIS 8 GB DDR3-1600 (1x 8 GB)). I’ve left the lampy running for 2 days now, and I haven’t seen the issue previously described anymore (including the DNGL issue). The root cause seems to be the RAM, as far as i’m concerned the case is closed. If I encounter any more issues I’ll let you know, thanks for all your help!
